Just as a heads up, after almost three years in the role, Clive Power (our Regional Swimming Hub Head Coach) has indicated that he wishes to stand down sometime within the next 12 months.  This is not unexpected, given Clive has put his life at Pleasant Point on hold while he helps us establish our Regional Swimming Hub programme.

This gives us plenty of time to find someone who can fill Clive’s flippers (so to speak).  And whilst we have got a great deal of time to find this person, the Board has decided to advertise the role now, just in case the ‘right’ person is out there, looking for an opportunity like this.

The Board of Swimming Waikato continues to be totally committed to the Hub programme, and we’re looking forward to having the opportunity of working alongside someone who brings at least as much knowledge and passion to the role as Clive does.
